KnowledgePool contract hots up with SPICE
First phase of CRM Training for Post Office staff
KnowledgePool, the IT, personal and business skills training company has been awarded a major contract from the Post Office to deliver Siebel customer relationship management training to Post Office sales staff across the UK. Currently valued at just under £1million, the contract consists of a number of elements that will run through until the summer of 2001.
Named SPICE - Securing the Post Office's Integrated Commercial Environment, the Post Office project is designed to help their sales teams manage customer information. The first phase of the training "Business SPICE" consists of a number of phases delivered to over 1300 staff and forms part of an enterprise-wide change programme. Consisting of an initial two-day standard end-user training course and followed up by a one-day course customised to specific job roles, the Siebel training will be delivered by KnowledgePool tutors at convenient locations across the UK to an audience of sales and account managers.
Following successful completion of the training, Post Office staff will be able to access a customer database that gives a single view of their customers and the surrounding activity, together with the additional benefits of consistent sales and marketing materials.
Paul Butler, chief executive officer at KnowledgePool said, "This contract follows the extremely successful training programme that is running alongside the Post Office Counter Automation project and further demonstrates KnowledgePool's commitment to large business applications training programmes. KnowledgePool's subject matter expertise, pedigree and skill in managing and delivering large, logistically complex training programmes is unequalled in Europe and will enable us to deliver an effective training programme for the Post Office."
