KnowledgePool steps out across Europe with StepStone
22 February 2001
Training to run in 11 countries over 6 month timeframe
KnowledgePool, the IT, personal and business skills training company is currently delivering customised Oracle financials training in support of new business systems to over 200 StepStone personnel in 11 countries across Europe.
The fast-track training programme commenced in November and runs alongside the implementation of new financial technology across StepStone's business. Scheduled for completion by April 2001, KnowledgePool is training the delegates from scratch and the range of topics covered includes overview and navigation, through financial modules of accounts payable and receivable to cash management, general ledger and month end procedures.
Delivered in English at StepStone offices, the face to face training has been customised to accommodate country variances in databases. Lis Thompson-Souto, project manager for StepStone said, "To maximise the technological investment we have made we needed to ensure our staff were able to use the new systems efficiently and effectively. It was essential that we chose an expert training provider who understood our requirement and was able to design and deliver what is an extremely intensive training programme."
Paul Butler, chief executive officer at KnowledgePool agreed. "Logistically complex rollouts such as this require expertise both in quality of training delivery and programme management. At KnowledgePool we have a wealth of experience delivering and managing training for clients worldwide. We are delighted to be working with StepStone on such an important project, the KnowledgePool portfolio is already available through the StepStone web site and this further cements our relationship."
