Training design and development

Examples of bespoke programmes

We successfully delivered the first organisation-wide implementation of e-learning in the UK Home Office. Compared to previous similar learning programmes, KnowledgePool's blended approach reduced costs by around 50% and reduced learning times by 60%.

We developed and delivered bespoke solutions in many different areas. Recent examples include:

  • Management development training for 250 high street store managers
  • Leadership programme for a large government department
  • Rollout of equality and diversity workshops to 2,000 staff
  • Talent management training for a community of Finance and HR professionals
  • Training on a new foreign exchange system
  • Legal and contractual compliance training
  • Training for a new transport communications system.

KnowledgePool is one of the few companies that is equally successful in developing effective instructor-led, e-Learning and blended learning programmes. We are unmatched in our combination of development experience, flexibility and capability.

Examples of elements we have experience of developing and delivering include:

  • Instructor-led Events - for example, onsite training, off-site events, scheduled courses, residential courses and appraisals.
  • Train-the-Trainer Programmes.
  • e-Learning - for delivery via CD-ROM, intranet or internet.
  • Video - for inclusion in e-Learning material or distributing in VHS, DVDs or downloadable format.
  • Paper-based Training - for example, training manuals, workplace assignments and distance learning materials.
  • User support documentation - for example, course manuals, quick reference guides, frequently asked questions, written for hard copy or on-screen use.
  • Awareness Programmes - for example launch events, internal mailings, videos, newsletters etc.
