Our Standard Evaluation Service
KnowledgePool's standard evaluation service provides high value information with the minimum of effort. It can be applied to any learning, permitting comparison of results across your entire curriculum. You can even benchmark your results against summary feedback from our wider client base. Key features:
- Online questionnaires with automated issue and collation, for fast paper-free evaluation at a minimal cost. Captures numeric and free-text responses.
- Learning reaction questionnaire (Kirkpatrick Level 1) issued to learners immediately after the learning is complete. This assesses the quality of the learning delivery against the usual measures: pre-course administration; learning content; learning effectiveness. For public scheduled courses, our supplier management team also use this feedback to monitor the quality of our partners' training delivery.
- Learning outcomes questionnaire (Kirkpatrick Level 3-4) issued to learners and their managers three months after the learning. This assesses the transfer of learning to the workplace, line manager support and individual performance improvement.
- Comprehensive standard reporting. Rapid analysis of evaluations for all learning, lets you monitor the average scores, highs and lows, without having to read each response individually (though we can analyse individual responses when required). This vital management information supports effective decision-making around future training provision and helps you understand where learning is impacting performance.
Analysing the impact of learning
Once delegates leave the training room, it's easy to think the job is done. Wrong. The most vital step - transferring learning to the workplace - is only just begun and unless learners use what they've learned, you have wasted your money. Our leading edge learning outcomes questionnaire has enabled our clients to assess how much learners use what they learn, and how it impacts individual performance.
The results can be compared with benchmark scores to see where a course has above or below average impact. This measure of learning outcomes allows clients to assess the value of a course. In most cases this confirms that a course is performing well, but in a few cases it has highlighted a problem which would otherwise have gone unnoticed.
