Associates at short notice for Orange

Orange logo

With just four days notice, over a Bank Holiday weekend, KnowledgePool was able to mobilise and assign 20 experienced associate trainers who could work alongside Orange's in-house team to deliver an induction training programme.

"KnowledgePool were the obvious choice … They have considerable expertise and resources and they were able to provide excellent trainers who could hit the ground running. This enabled us to meet the demand for training without compromising the quality of the inductions in any way."

Lisa Blewitt, Training & Development Manager

Our flexible resourcing model is a key element of our success. We pride ourselves on finding the right people, with the right skills, often at short notice, to meet a particular training project requirement. We work with over 200 associates on a regular basis, often reusing individuals, so we know them and they know us well. In this way our associate management team can provide clients with a resource supply that is regulated to match exactly the peaks and troughs of demand.

  • Selection. We use our associate skills database to shortlist associates for any desired requirement.
  • Skill-up. We provide all our associates with a full skill-up before deploying them in a front-line client position. Increasingly, this includes a 'cultural' skill-up, to explain the client organisation, their terminology, business processes, current issues etc.
  • The quality of our associates and the skill-up is often such that client delegates don't even realise that the trainer is not one of their own staff.
  • Monitoring. In the course of all our associate placements, we observe trainer delivery and monitor associate performance, to ensure the quality of all aspects of service delivery.
  • Associate events. Our associates are often the 'face' of KnowledgePool to our clients. We consider them part of our extended family, and run a regular series of awareness events up and down the UK.
